No temps this evening. First time since for over two months. Attended a Decontamination Accreditation & then EI meeting for Brisbane Vets wanting to vaccination at the Biosecurity Premises of QDPI, 53 Seventeenmilerocks Rd, Oxley. Meeting to start at 5pm, lucky to get started by 5.30pm.
Interesting demonstration re decontamination from a DPI inspector - I think his name was Brian McGahn (or similar). The Decon Kit is quite large and contains such things as buckets, brushes, detol, dishwashing detergent, screwdriver, sharps containers, hazard bags etc, 50-80 disposable overalls, spray pumps, spray bottles....zip lock bags, ties, garbage bags, paper towels, gloves etc.
After that the most interesting part of the evening was the "Where are we now" part of EI, and then with particular reference to the PPHI and vaccination strategy.
