Mad Monday

Feel like I've been on the phone all day today. One call after another. Tried to contact everyone and tidy up RP addresses and also get everyone to put vaccine requests down in writing with signatures. Spoken to Faye Morgan, Mavis Kelly, Sue Kunde, Jan Darling, Dennis S (by answer machine), Maurice, Jean Taylor and Tony Snell. Tony's horse it seems had the EI and it didn't sweep down the valley for whatever reason. Also have had contact with the DPI via Yvonne, processing my vaccine request which looks like a given at this stage. Recieved some paperwork in the mail from the DPI detailing the whole pig and spit.......unbelievable amount of paperwork and accountability associated with this thing. Have to sort a few things out tomorrow evening at THE meeting. Will be interesting.

Here's to posting my own comments....

Also interesting....to learn that say two people -Tony Snell and Felicity at Borallen - hadn't reported their suspected cases of EI to the DPI. But in their defence I'm not sure either of them were ever very sure the horses had EI. Though the timing would suggest it. The DPI really have to do follow up testing.
