Well DPI map has written us off!

Well tonight's DPI map, and I'm printing them off every couple of days, has us now well and truly in the EI infected zones. Though as far as I know our part of Kholo Rd is still unaffected (well no coughing horses reported yet) Little bit of breeze today from the north west, yes that way is infected too.

Am worried re Paz, would prefer her not to foal (she hasn't) before Day 320. Will source some oral progesterone (Regumate) in the morning. Can't think why I didn't do that on Monday! Might just get her over the line if she doesn't foal tonight. Not running milk like she normally does by now, but her back fetlocks sticky from the colostrum drip. Fingers crossed big time.

Dick reports that little Tapestry has had her first "big run" today in a big paddock. Tappy is another premmie foal, due same time as Pazzy's foal, born last Monday, about Day 307 and has been amazing since day one. She is by Mahazin Ibn Cairo out of Kholonial mare Leshal Tamira. Go Tappy! No EI at Boonah yet, so Tappy at least doesn't have that hanging over her.
